Meet Ellen
Your Licensed Professional Counselor
Your Licensed Professional Counselor
My name is Ellen. I am a Masters-level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. I am passionate about travel, dance, skiing, and stories. I grew up in rural Minnesota and made Denver my home in 2015. After graduating from the University of Colorado-Denver in 2018 with my counseling degree, I spent my early career supporting teens and families in the foster/adopt system. I believe in a narrative and somatic approach to trauma healing. Memories are stored in the body and the stories we tell ourselves have power. I look forward to going on this journey of self-discovery and healing with you!

Online, I provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore, grieve, heal from trauma, adapt to change, and grow in strength. As an artist myself, I value your authenticity and self-expression. There is only one you on this planet—let’s work together to make it the truest version possible.
Everyone has a story worth honoring. I work primarily with individuals ages 14 to 64. I am an ally to those who share my identities and those who don’t. I understand systemic burdens and the challenges in life that create trauma. Whoever you are, you are welcome here at Eureka Creek!
We are the authors of our own stories. My approach to counseling is collaborative, creative, and conscientious. I am honored to be a healer, witness your story, and assist you in cultivating the tools you need to navigate this life. We are shaped by that which we have overcome.
